Introduction

Drumstick tree is about 10m to 12 meters tall, which is 32 to 60 feet tall. Its bark has a white-gray color and is surrounded by thick cork. The tree has a sloping, an open crown of delicate branches and the leaves form a winged leaf of triparinate leaves. Since this tree is quite tall, it is pruned from one and a half to two meters high so that its fruits, flowers and leaves can be broken easily.

Drumstick tree is a fast growing and drought resistant tree, which is the origin of tropical and subtropical regions of South Asia. Temperature ranging from 25 degree to 35 degree is considered right for this tree. Most temperatures this tree can tolerate is up to 48 degrees.

The flower of this tree is about 1–1.5 cm long and 2.0 cm wide. It grows on thin hairy stalks that stretch or fall off the clumps of flowers, which are 10cm to 25 cm in length. After six of planting flowers start coming on the tree. It can flower twice a year or throughout the year with constant seasonal temperatures and with continuous rainfall. Its flowers are cooked and eaten as a vegetable, whose taste looks like some mushrooms.
